ABOUT
Ayako brings over 35 years of training and experience as a concert violinist, winning multiple accolades and awards - including multiple Grammy awards and the 2018 orchestra of the year by Gramophone with the Seattle Symphony.
She spent the past 15 years as a violinist in various American symphonies. From 2005 – 2018, Ayako played in the first violin section for the Seattle Symphony. Prior to Seattle, Ayako played with the Chicago, San Francisco, and Oregon Symphonies. Recently, Ayako won a position with the Austin Symphony Orchestra
Ayako holds a master’s degree in Music performance from the Julliard School with a full scholarship, and a bachelor’s degree in music performance from the New England Conservatory where she won the school-wide concerto competition.
Ayako’s Main teachers include: Joel Smirnoff, Michelle Auclair, and Ryosaku Kubota.
